Cannot find the License Protection DLL

The installation (which is supposed to register the license protection subsystem) has not been successful in doing so. You can try running the file "<DISE-INSTALLATION-DIR>\Lib\lpregsvr.exe" manually. The issue may also appear on systems which are limited, on Server or Embedded versions of Windows. The License Protection DLL cannot be loaded because it has dependencies to modules that are not present. When creating an Embedded image, make sure the Application Compatibility template is present.

The system date has been tampered with

The system detects that the time and date of the computer has changed and interprets it as an attempt to bypass copy protection. In most cases it is enough to correctly set the time and date and try again. Should it still appear you need to contact us and get an unlock key in order to continue.

Activation

Activation may be done after installation by using the DISE Setup Wizard or from the Activation dialog appearing when you start an application in demo mode. The activation process is generally performed online and is totally automatic. Below is a list of problems / errors that might occur during activation.

The serial number is not intended for this product

Either you have got the wrong installation package or the serial number is not compatible with what you have installed. Contact your reseller for the correct information.

The serial number contains errors. Please try again

The serial numbers has to be entered exactly, including the hyphens (-) between the 6 groups.

When you have received your serial number by mail, the best way to enter the serial number is to copy it from the mail, and then right-click in the box where the number should be entered and select "Paste" from the menu.

If you have to type in the serial number, here are the most common mistakes:

  • Confusing O (the letter) and 0 (zero)
  • Confusing l(small letter L) and 1 (one)
  • Confusing big/small letters (ex. oO zZ)

The registration entry already exists

The serial number that you are trying to activate has already been used on another computer. Make sure that you have not confused the serial numbers. You can see which serial number you used on another computer with the License Viewer that can be found in all the DISE programs. If you made a mistake, or if you cannot see why this serial number has already been used, we will need to transfer transfer the license. Please contact us. This is also the case when the hardware in the PC has changed drastically - the license has been locked to a specific hardware setup.

Internal error 3014 in Web Activation Server

The most common cause for this error is that the date in your computer is not correct. The web server interprets this as a an attempt to tamper with the copy protection. Make sure your date and time is updated, and try again.

A connection to the Web Activation Server could not be established

The error message is self-explanatory. The Activation Server could not be reached for some reason.

The proxy settings can be done in the Proxy settings in the Activation dialog:

If you still get the same error message, please wait for a while and activate at a later moment.
