DISEGlobal.settings

Overview

DISEGlobal.settings contains paths to where DISE internally stores files and settings. It also contains the persistent variables to be loaded by DISE Replay on startup. By default, settings files are located in the path specified in DISE settings files.

The paths to the settings files are sometimes relative, where a path is specified like: "$AssetsDir$\DefaultContent". In this case, "$AssetsDir$" will be expanded by looking up that name in the list. It will expand to "$DISEInstallDir$\Assets" which will in turn expand to "C:\Program Files (x86)\DISE\DISE 8\Assets" on my computer. The complete path is thus "C:\Program Files (x86)\DISE\DISE 8\Assets\DefaultContent".
