What we need to do to get an Ambience playlist running is to:

  1. Create an Ambience document and add playlists to it.
  2. Select what Ambience document to use in DISE Bridge.
  3. Distribute the music files to the player.
  4. The player loads and automatically starts playing the playlist.

Create a new project

Select File > New to start with a new Ambience document.

Create playlists

An Ambience document may consist of several playlists, each with their scheduling and order. For example, you may have one playlist for the morning and one for the afternoon.

To create a new playlist, just click the add icon (the green plus sign) in the bottom, in the Music playlist section.

The file extension for an Ambience document is .diseambience.

Selecting and sending out the project

The selection of which Ambience document to use is done in Bridge, for a destination.

  • Double click the destination to edit.
  • Go to the Music player tab.
  • Check the Use music player box.
  • Select a ".diseambience" file of choice.

Now, the Ambience playlist information will be included in the display scheme for Replay. All we have to do is to distribute the destination. By doing so the music files referenced by the playlists will be sent out.

Controlling playlists

Ambience playlists are by default playing independently of the visual content. Even though, you can if you want control playlists from within DISE Movies, using the Ambience Control Object.
