At times, our technical support department needs to see some diagnostics information about your computer in order to help you solve a problem. To obtain the systems diagnostic files, follow the instructions below:

  • Type in "dxdiag" in the Start Menu search field and press Enter. (In Windows XP you first need to open the Run dialog Windows+R).
This opens the DirectX diagnostic tool.
  • Click on the Save All Information button (save this file to your windows desktop and name it dxdiag.txt).
  • Enter "msinfo32" in the Start Menu search field and press Enter to open the System information tool.
  • Select File > Export to save this file as a text file and name it msinfo. Please make sure to save this file as a .txt file and NOT as a .nfo file.
  • Attach the dxdiag.txt and msinfo.txt files to the ticket or e-mail requesting this information (or a new one if there was no request).
