When migrating from DISE 1.6 to DISE 8 it is recommended to test the content to see that everything works as it's expected to. DISE 8 has a backwards compatibility engine that will automatically convert older DISE Movies (.evs) to newer (.disemovie) on loading them.
Nonetheless, there are unfortunately some cases where some manual work is needed to get it to work.
