DISE Probe is located on your Player and is in a sense the "reverse" of the DISE Bridge application. It is responsible for all downloading of content and to ensure that the content located on the Player is kept up to date. Probe is designed to run automatic 24/7.
In DISE Probe, you set up download locations, which simply tell from where to download and where (locally) to put the downloaded content. You can have as many sources for content as you need - for instance, video might come from one source and text files from another.
Additional tasks for Probe concern volume control, restarting the computer at scheduled intervals, and synchronizing the system clock to a time server.
